The work presents a description of the particle morphology, methods of fractal and structure analysis, and properties of non-granular suspensions as well as methods for determining the granulometric characteristics of suspensions. Multiflux sedimentation has been described as a technique used to intensify the sedimentation process. The models used to describe multiflux sedimentation are presented.
The monograph is based on working drafts of published articles on several problematic tasks. The first task is related to the Monte Carlo method, the idea which was proposed at one time by a graduate of Lviv Polytechnic University, Stanislav Ulam. Thanks to... więcej »
