The monograph is based on working drafts of published articles on several problematic tasks. The first task is related to the Monte Carlo method, the idea which was proposed at one time by a graduate of Lviv Polytechnic University, Stanislav Ulam. Thanks to this method, the problems related to the modelling of photon scattering by the so-called turbid medium are successfully solved. Turbid media are optically inhomogeneous, so the issues related to statistical analysis of the frame errors of nonlinearly transformed optical data are relevant for these studies. The final part of the monograph is devoted to the fourth task. The second problem is devoted to the development of a method of circumferential extremes of multibeam wave interference in plane-parallel.
The basis of the third task of the monograph is the modelling of processes in optical systems using the so-called ”golden” proportions of the systems parameters relations, and the recurrent relationship between them.
This study attempts to analyse the environmental, economic and educational aspects of using free wind energy and teaching about using it. Knowing that it is not possible to cover here the entire scope of the problem of wind energy, most attention was paid... więcej »
This monograph explores the applications of fractal geometry by Mandelbrot to the description of the grain size distribution and morphology of the solid phase in suspensions and a method is proposed for computing the sedimentation efficiency of non-grain sediments... więcej »
This study is an introduction to the analysis of technological aspects of wind energy use. Realizing that it is not possible to cover the whole problem related to wind energy, most attention was paid to the practical aspects of the discussed issue. The work... więcej »
The work presents a description of the particle morphology, methods of fractal and structure analysis, and properties of non-granular suspensions as well as methods for determining the granulometric characteristics of suspensions. Multiflux sedimentation has... więcej »
